Praise and thanksgiving to God for sustaining me!
I had an emergency appendectomy operation last April 21, 2023. Four days before my operation, I was experiencing diarrhea, vomiting, high fever and headaches. We first thought it was severe menstrual cramps or food poisoning. Our family is not used to going to the hospital when pain or any sickness occur. We were hoping that ailments can be cured through home remedy. Thank God that through a doctor friend who advised us to go to the hospital for proper medical attention, we learned that I am in an emergency situation. My appendix ruptured already. Praise God I survived! I'm still alive to tell of God's goodness and miracles in Christ Jesus!

I am so thankful for my family, my siblings, our church circles, especially brethren from GCCP, Pastor Stephen, and Pastor VJ, for praying for me and even extending financial help. I am so endowed to my ever-strong mother, my younger sister Lala and brother-in-law Marlou, and Cheits, my sister-in-law whom my husband and I call "ina ng laging saklolo", for going the extra mile in assisting me in he hospital and looking after the kids while we were in the hospital.
For my husband, Jonathan, for ever taking care of me and encouraging me when I am down. Truly, in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, we are always together as we pledged before God. Saranghae.
Now, I feel stronger and recovering well, by God's grace. It's nice to stop and enjoy rest, but I hope not for too long.
Pictures here with my surgeon, Dr. Lloyd Delos Santos at North Caloocan Doctors Hospital, Cheits, with the kids at home after three nights from the hospital, pictures in the room (always smiling despite the pain from the surgery), and in the ER at St. Luke's.
God's promise is ever-true! He never leaves us, nor forsakes us! God is great and He is great all the time!
